Natural zone of sepultura

Represents a transition between the dry and wet areas Itsmo Soconusco; its gradient contains humidity and altitude ecosystems with a mixture of elements of arid, humid, tropical and temperate zones.

Flora and fauna:

The flora include cattails. Of terrestrial vertebrates 121 species are protected by the rule, such as jaguars, pumas, spider monkeys, tapirs, flying squirrel

How to get  there

Located in the northwest of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas.  It is comprises the municipalities of Arriaga, Tonalá, Cintalapa, Jiquipilas, Villa corzo and villa flores, in Villa Costa, Central and Frailesca of Chiapas, regions respectively; access is possible by highways 190, 195 and 200.
